Tales from an Empty
Fridge tells a touching
story about an older man named Jasper who reconnects
with his artistic past. There are no words or
narrator in this piece. Instead, Jasper’s story is
told through music, movement of the puppets, props
and sets, making it suitable for a wide range of
audiences. The puppets take young audiences on a
delightful journey of discovery and challenge as the
main character discovers that his cupboards are bare
and his bills are accumulating. Despite his troubles,
Jasper plays the cello, paints and dances to keep his
spirits up and learns that expressing himself through
his art is the key to his happiness and to solving
his problems.
O is for Ogre
is an original story
about a little boy named Owen Osborne who loves
books. Books fill his imagination! Yet, far away in
an imaginary land there lives an obstinate Ogre and
he is running out of Os to eat. The obstinate Ogre
begins to take Os out of some of Owen’s favourite
books so he can make his oatmeal. Audiences follow
along with Owen as he takes a journey to discover who
is taking the Os and figures out how to get them
back. Beautiful puppets and music make this fun
filled and enchanting story come to life, celebrating
the excitement and diversity of the letter O. O is
for Original. O so round. O so perfect. O so much fun
