Tales from an Empty Fridge tells a touching story about an older man named Jasper who reconnects with his artistic past. There are no words or narrator in this piece. Instead, Jasper’s story is told through music, movement of the puppets, props and sets, making it suitable for a wide range of audiences. The puppets take young audiences on a delightful journey of discovery and challenge as the main character discovers that his cupboards are bare and his bills are accumulating. Despite his troubles, Jasper plays the cello, paints and dances to keep his spirits up and learns that expressing himself through his art is the key to his happiness and to solving his problems.
